Heroes,
Thank you to everyone who joined Old School Celtic Memories.
We read stories about first clans, old screenshots, boss fights, rare drops, funny mistakes, long breaks, returns to Dal Riata, and memories that players still talk about years later.
The team reviewed the entries, and these are the judged category winners. Community Favorite will be announced separately.

My very first memory of Celtic Heroes happened within minutes of creating my account. My little brother had just discovered a game on the App Store of our old 4th-generation iPod Touch. He excitedly called me over and insisted I try it. While fumbling through his inventory and trying to figure out the controls, I accidentally dropped some of his armor. His response was immediate: he created a new character named "Heisstupid." We spent the next twenty minutes doing what every new player does—obsessing over character creation, testing hairstyles, changing colors, and wondering what all the classes did. Eventually, we randomly chose Belenus as our world and stepped into Dal Riata for the very first time. Back then there was no Otherworld. Stonevale was the endgame. Old Castle hadn't yet become the bustling hub it is today. To us, though, none of that mattered. The world felt enormous. After gathering a handful of torches and proudly equipping them, we set off from Heroes Landing. Players filled the roads, running in every direction. Then we noticed something strange. Snow. As we moved toward an area we would later learn was called Lir's Reach, snowflakes drifted across the landscape. It was the first winter event, and to two brand-new players it felt magical. Suddenly a player shot past us on a sled. We'd never seen anything like it. Without saying a word, we chased after them through the snowy paths toward Highshore Village. The sled rider vanished into the distance, but unknowingly they had led us straight into chaos. Near the leystone stood a gigantic snowman, towering over a crowd of low-level players. Around five or six adventurers, all roughly our level, were desperately attacking it. Every few seconds someone would be flattened and sent crawling back from the leystone. A group invite appeared on my screen. We accepted.
What we didn't know was that this wasn't some ordinary monster. It was a five-star level 20 snowman for the Yulestave quest. To us, it may as well have been a raid boss. The battle was absolute madness. Our attacks barely scratched it. Players were getting knocked out in just a few hits, only to respawn nearby and sprint straight back into the fight. The snowman seemed unstoppable. But nobody left. For several minutes we chipped away at its health bar, over and over, dying, returning, and fighting again. Then finally, impossibly, it fell. In the span of fifteen minutes, Celtic Heroes had shown me everything that would keep me playing for years to come: a living world, unexpected adventure, strangers working together, overwhelming challenges, and the satisfaction of earning a victory that felt impossible. I was hooked from that moment on.

My friend and I used to play on lugh back in the good ole days. The two main clans at the time were the berserkers and ancients. At the time these clans were mortal enemies. They hated each other. We created a new clan called the “Spartans” and we basically spam recruited every new player and clanless player we could find so we would have the biggest and most active clan. Within 3 days we achieved that and we talked a ton of smack to both clans so much so that they actually teamed up for a 2v1 clan fight in the old arena. It was basically a bunch of low level noobs with awful gear vs endgame players (lvl 120 or something at the time). They just farmed us until we got tired of dying. Absolutely hilarious. Not one of them died lol. Our clan went from like 150 active to 5 active in a week span. Good times.

2013-2016 was one of the happiest, yet saddest, parts of my childhood. Discovering celtic heroes got me completely hooked. I spent countless hours playing, making youtube videos, creating content, and even posting the occasional clickbait video for fun. I was also that little kid always begging people to sell their luxury items for cheap prices. The sad part was getting grounded for playing way too much lol and what I thought would be a short punishment ended up lasting two whole years.
When I finally got the chance to play, I played on Android, and chose Fingal as my home. Thats where I met two unforgettable friends.
One was a younger kid who played a Druid, the other was a college student who played a Mage, while I was the Tank. The three of us became an inseparable trio, always doing quests, grinding, and leveling up together. Even though I never knew who they were in real life, they gave me some of the best memories of my childhood. I may never meet them again, but they will always be my favorite part of Celtic Heroes, and ill remember them forever.

Had just joined one of the big 3 clans and this was my first time participating in a large scale battle. I just remember how cool it was to see so many players jumbled together fighting together for victory.
