We are looking for Celtic Heroes players to join the upcoming 7.0.0 Closed Beta.

This update includes major technical changes to the game. The goal is pretty simple: play the game, find issues, and help us make sure things are working properly before release. 

You don`t need any previous testing or QA experience.

What will we test?

For most of the beta, just play normally. Use your regular character, run familiar content, fight bosses, use the main systems, and let us know if something does not work the way it should or feels different from the live game.

We may also ask you to spend some extra time on specific areas.

Current focus areas include:

• entering the game and general stability;
• Valley of the Ancients performance;
• boss fight performance;
• general combat feel and skills;
• inventory, banking, trading, and Auction House interactions;
• completing the tutorial on a new character;
• Dueling areas and PvP;
• Ranger skill behavior.

We are mainly looking for:

• crashes or stability issues;
• anything blocking progress;
• systems or features not working correctly;
• unexpected deviations from the live game;
• performance issues;
• interaction or sync issues between players;
• anything else that gets in the way of normal play.

Group testing is also part of the beta. Please team up with other testers where possible to check boss fights, multiplayer interactions, social features, performance with more players online, and player synchronization.

If something feels slower, less responsive, or just works differently than it does on live, report it. General feedback about the game is also welcome. 

Who can apply?

We are mainly looking for players who know Celtic Heroes and its systems well.

You should:

• use Discord and be able to read and write basic English;
• be able to install a separate beta version of the game;
• be available during the Closed Beta;
• be willing to play, report issues, and give useful feedback;
• follow the Closed Beta rules.

The Closed Beta will be available on:

• Android
• iOS

Selected testers will receive installation and access instructions before the beta starts.

Dates and time commitment

Applications open - 24th September 2026

Applications close - 29th September 2026

Closed Beta starts - 1st October 2026 

Closed Beta ends - 8th October 2026

There is no set number of hours you need to play, but we do expect selected testers to actually take part during the beta.

What to expect from a beta

This is an unfinished version of the game, so bugs, crashes, gameplay issues, and temporary server problems can happen.

The Closed Beta will run in a separate test environment.

Your character will be copied to the beta server based on the server and character name you provide. Nothing you do in the beta will affect your live account or character.

Progress made in the beta will not carry over after the test ends, and beta access will be removed once testing is complete.

We don`t expect to reset beta progress during the test, but this may happen if a critical issue requires it. All beta progress will be wiped when the beta ends.

Selected testers will get access to the Closed Beta Discord area for announcements, reports, feedback, and help.

Sharing beta content

You can publicly say that you are taking part in the beta and share your general impressions.

You can also share generic screenshots publicly.

However:

• streams and public videos are not allowed;
• bugs and exploits must not be shared publicly;
• videos or screenshots showing bugs or exploits should only be posted in the dedicated beta reporting channel;
• beta access, test files, download links, login information, and private team messages must not be shared;
• beta bugs or unfinished behavior should not be presented as representative of the final game quality.

If you are not sure whether something can be shared, ask first.

Rewards

Rewards will be based on actual participation in the Closed Beta.

All eligible testers will receive Platinum, and the most active participants will also receive the exclusive Gloves of the United Elements.

You don’t need to find a bug to qualify. Useful testing and feedback still count.

Beta rewards will be sent after Update 7.0.0 is finalized and released to live.
