Samhain is returning to Dal Riata!

Cursed creatures are appearing across the land, and a new seasonal story is waiting to be uncovered.

This year, you'll be able to take on new quests, collect new Beoite Masks and Moon Masks, earn seasonal rewards, and get your hands on the new Headless Phantom Fashion Set.

There's plenty more to discover, including new Mystery Chests and Bags, Batwing class fashion and weapons, Pin Weapon Cosmetics, three Tarot decks with their own rewards, seasonal novelty weapons, and the return of the Veilfire Steeds of Oblivion.

The event runs from October 22nd to November 17th, 2026.

The Seasonal Token Vendor will remain open until November 27 for token purchases and exchanges. All other event activities end on November 17.

Free Daily Samhain Offers

The spirits have a few extra treats in store for you this Samhain!

As a thank-you for being part of our community, we're making the celebration even more exciting with one free offer every day from October 24 through November 6!

Head to the Special Offers pop-up each day to claim your reward. Look out for Resurrection Idols, Restoration Potions, Mount Whistles, Leystone Fragments, and Heroic Elixirs to help you on your adventures.

Halloween Special October 31! 🎃

On Halloween, your daily free offer will be a Spooky Celebration Box, available for one day only!

A few things to remember:

• Each free offer is available for one day only, so don't miss out!
• All rewards are non-tradeable, including the Spooky Celebration Box and everything inside it.
• Make sure you're on the character you want to receive the rewards before claiming your offer.

Event Monsters

Seasonal enemies will appear across four zones:

• Lir's Reach
• Stonevale
• Shalemont Ravine
• Otherworld

Keep an eye out for these cursed creatures:

• Crimson Moth
• Violet Moth
• Cursed Hound
• Cursed Headless Villager
• Headless Phantom — the seasonal questline mini-boss

The seasonal NPC and Token Vendor will be in Lir's Reach, near the Dustwither Catacombs. Head there to pick up event quests, spend your tokens, and exchange masks.

Note: If your character starts fleeing when you approach certain seasonal moths, don't worry. That's part of the event!

Seasonal Quests

This year's Samhain event brings a new questline where you'll help save a village.

Visit Village Leader Cormac O'Druin to begin your journey.

Level requirement: 60 or higher.

Complete seasonal quests to earn two types of event currency:

• Silver Samhain Tokens
• Golden Samhain Tokens

You can spend your tokens at the Seasonal Token Vendor in Lir's Reach.

Anniversary Legacy Quests

With the introduction of the new Samhain Legacy questline, older Anniversary Legacy Quests that can no longer be completed will be removed from your Quest tab to prevent outdated quests from cluttering your quest log.

Seasonal Token Exchange

The Seasonal Token Vendor also has an exchange tab where you can exchange seasonal currency in either direction.

• 1 Golden Samhain Token → A bag containing up to 35 Silver Samhain Tokens
• 35 Silver Samhain Tokens → 1 Golden Samhain Token

Make sure to spend your remaining tokens and complete any exchanges before the vendor closes on November 27.

Moon Masks: Gealach Veil

The Beoite Samhain Moon Masks: Gealach Veil return this year!

Available Masks

• Simple Moon Mask — available from the Seasonal Token Vendor for Samhain Tokens.
• Triple Moon (Female) and Horned God (Male) — masks with visual effects, available as possible rewards from the Trick or Treat Mystery Bag 2026.

Dryghtyn Moon Mask

Collect both the Triple Moon and Horned God masks to combine them into the Dryghtyn Moon Mask at the Seasonal Token Vendor.

Both original masks will be consumed during the upgrade. Check the vendor's Moon Mask upgrade tab for the requirements.

Important:

• Triple Moon and Horned God masks are gender-specific.
• If you receive a mask your character can't equip, you can exchange it for the correct version for free at the Seasonal Token Vendor.
• You can also keep both versions to use toward the Dryghtyn upgrade.

New Beoite Samhain Masks

This Samhain also brings new seasonal versions of four familiar masks:

• Wolf Mask
• Skull Mask
• Witch Mask
• Sinister Mask of Terror

The collection features four seasonal beoite variants, along with two particle-effect styles: Ensorcelled and Batwing.

Wolf and Skull Masks

The new Beoite Wolf and Skull Masks can be obtained from the Trick or Treat Mystery Bag 2026.

Witch Mask and Sinister Mask of Terror

The Fall versions of these two masks, including their Ensorcelled Fall and Batwing Fall variants, will be available from the Seasonal Token Vendor.

The remaining variants can be found in the Trick or Treat Mystery Bag 2026.

Event Bounties

Regular and Elite Bounties will have a chance to give additional bonus rewards during Samhain.

New Headless Phantom Fashion Set

The Headless Phantom Fashion Set arrives this Samhain, bringing a new Halloween look to Dal Riata.

The set can be obtained from the new Phantom Mystery Chest.

It comes in all 10 colors, with two versions:

• Headless Phantom — the standard fashion set.
• Abyssal Headless Phantom — the version with particle effects.

Open Phantom Mystery Chests for a chance to collect the pieces and complete your set.

New Batwing Class Fashion and Weapons

This Samhain introduces new Batwing cosmetic variants for class fashion and weapons.

Batwing Class Fashion

New Batwing fashion variants will be available through an additional tab at each class fashion vendor.

Batwing Class Weapons

New Batwing weapon variants will be available through an additional tab at the Cosmetic Story Weapons Vendor.

Batwing Raid Boss Cosmetic Weapons

Batwing variants will also be available for raid boss cosmetic weapons through the Boss Cosmetic Weapons Vendor.

Batwing Legacy Boss Cosmetic Weapons

New Batwing variants for Legacy Boss Cosmetic Weapons will be available through an additional tab at the Weapon Legacy Cosmetic Vendor.

How to Get Batwing Cosmetics

The new Batwing Mystery Bag gives you a chance to obtain Cosmetic Samhain Bat Fragments.

These fragments can be used at the relevant vendors for the new Batwing cosmetics.

Batwing Legacy Boss Cosmetic Weapons require Weapon Legacy Samhain Bat Fragments, which can be obtained through seasonal quests and a Mystery Bag.

Check the appropriate vendor tabs to see which fragments are needed for each item.

New Pin Weapon Cosmetics

This Samhain introduces new Pin Weapon Cosmetics for all five classes.

The collection includes:

• Bows
• Wands
• Swords
• Staves
• Daggers

Each weapon type comes in Gold, Silver, and Bronze designs, with standard and visual-effect variants.

These cosmetics will be available through the Weapon Legacy Cosmetic Vendor.

Weapon Cosmetic Quests

Use these fragments at the vendor to purchase new or returning Legacy Weapon Cosmetics.

Tarot

Tarot is back for this year's Samhain event, with three decks offering different entry requirements and rewards.

Each game starts with 18 moves.

If you run out of moves, some decks allow you to purchase additional moves. These can only be purchased once per game.

If you fail a game, you'll need to wait for the next daily or weekly reset before trying again.

Tarot will be available until November 17, when the seasonal event ends.

Minor Arcana Deck

The Minor Arcana Deck is available once per day and is free to enter.

• Daily limit: 1 game
• Moves: 18
• Reward: Minor Arcana Bag

If you run out of moves, you can purchase 2 additional moves for 500 Gold, once per game.

Bonus Reward: Win 5 Major Arcana games during the event to receive an additional Major Arcana Bag directly in your in-game mail.

Since the deck is available once per week, you'll need to participate each week to work toward this bonus.

The new Batwing Mystery Bag gives you a chance to obtain Cosmetic Samhain Bat Fragments.

The Trick or Treat Mystery Bag returns with new seasonal rewards.

Veilfire Steeds of Oblivion

The Veilfire Steeds of Oblivion are back, featuring remastered versions of the classic Nithsteeds of Oblivion.

The collection includes six variants:

The Veiled Skeleton Collection returns with five designs:

Each comes in three particle-effect versions:

Bug Fixes

We've also fixed a few issues and made some improvements with this update.

Items

• VoidSworn Shield — Fixed the shield's magical effects appearing beside the character instead of staying attached while mounted.
• Decennial and Oni Fashion — Fixed missing full-set bonus effects. They now activate correctly when the full outfit is equipped.

UI

• Item Tooltips — Fixed missing skill point bonuses in item tooltips. The bonuses were working correctly but weren't showing in the descriptions.
• Support Tickets — Fixed an issue where the Support Ticket screen could become unresponsive if you started typing before selecting an issue category.
• Quest Text — Removed placeholder text from the Dusk, Spirit Shadow, and several other quest descriptions.
• Camera — Fixed an issue where the camera could pass through walls, causing characters and nearby objects to temporarily disappear.
• Tutorial — Fixed an issue where talking to Brennan the Mighty could block tutorial progress.

Character

• Fishing Animations — Fixed hair clipping through the character's body during the "Reel In" animation.
• Weapon Idle Animations — Brought back weapon idle animations! Characters will now lower and occasionally twirl their weapons while standing still.
• Multiflutes Skill — Fixed an issue where using "Jaunty Melody" would trigger an error message.
