Re: 100-150
#2140 ishHi how many sk's would it take for a warrior to go from level 100 to 150?
100-120 is generally 2 per level,
121-135 generally 3
136-150 genetally 4
It's terrible how much xp leveling takes tbh... 140 is about 4k each, so thats 560k leveling from upper newbie to medium mid game level...
A easy 500k should bring someone to endgame from level 50 at the least. Especially considering mobs drop 50g Max at level 150 and they make Mobs hard enough to either need a tank, druid, and 6 Dps to level without lux. Seriously otm... Play your game ffs.

#3I agree with loco, the xp curve doesn't just need a slight change, the entire leveling system needs to be altered, L80 has been endgame L150 has been endgame L190 has been endgame and now L220 in different updates, that tells me the xp to get to level 220 should be divided by 4 and then the xp curve should be adjusted to suit

Re: 100-150
#4That would be a MUCH better way to fix it than slightly fixing the curve. having slight changes in the curve would still make the grind just as bad, and would not make a noticable difference. But this idea would be amazing. +1I agree with loco, the xp curve doesn't just need a slight change, the entire leveling system needs to be altered, L80 has been endgame L150 has been endgame L190 has been endgame and now L220 in different updates, that tells me the xp to get to level 220 should be divided by 4 and then the xp curve should be adjusted to suit

Re: 100-150
#6the xp needed at the level 80 cap was considered reasonable and at the time was enough to reach endgame. upon each update coming afterwards (L150,190,220) this reasonable amount of xp turned into an unreasonable amount with that gap getting larger and larger between starting and endgame. the grind to endgame now is excrusiating and longer than any other mobile mmo ive encountered. if the total amount of xp needed to reach 220 was divided by 4(the number of level cap updates) it would bring the total amount of xp needed back to that reasonable level so most new players wouldnt quit when they realise how long its gonna take them.
in saying all this i know im wasting my time because otm doesnt care about its players and only about the money they spend so this is never gonna happen even though its what it needs

#7Even 150 in update 3 was not unreasonable. Could lix a couple hours straight in Aggy cave and get a couple levels. Didn't require weeks

#8I'll agree 150 was reasonable, was exaggerating with small hope of negotiation if it was even actually consideredEven 150 in update 3 was not unreasonable. Could lix a couple hours straight in Aggy cave and get a couple levels. Didn't require weeks

Re: 100-150
#10I would call that unreasonable. I remember levels around that area requiring maybe 7 or 8 elixirs. Take into perspective that you're using elixirs that boost experience rates by 4 times the regular amount.Even 150 in update 3 was not unreasonable. Could lix a couple hours straight in Aggy cave and get a couple levels. Didn't require weeks
So imagine you spent 4 hours straight lixing in the cave. That's 16 elixirs - (Enough for 2.3 levels) However these elixirs require platinum to be able to purchase them. And there is no other way in the game to increase experience rates other than the age-old charms (few remain) that dropped in the October 2011 event. Yes there are many other games that require a great deal of time to reach a cap. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks from the start, or 2 months or even 4 months (very few games go beyond this limit), but most of these caps in these games have not changed unlike Celtic Heroes's caps. So, back then if a player didn't want to spend money, they were looking at 16 hours of fighting for 2.3 levels near the end-game. That isn't bad. I would imagine it to be like that or a little less in end-game standards, however what about all the other hours it took to reach that point. I imagine 200-300 hours of fighting without elixirs to reach that point at 150 in that time. HOWEVER! Look at the items we used! A lot of luxury equipment went into reaching the end-game. So with the time it takes to earn a fair amount of gold for the item I can easily see 350 hours being spent to reach the end-game at normal gold rates and selling items without the involvement of platinum items. If I took out resurrection and restoration potions, then 400 hours would suffice back in those days. That's about 16.7 days of gameplay. No potty breaks, no meals, no sleep. Count all that in and reasonable schedule for work, school, and having a life then that would be upwards of 2 months, maybe even 3 to reach the end game.
The problem is: This was 3-4 years ago!!!! Now look at the game. No experience items have been added since 2011, and no double XP weekends besides the one for the first birthday. If experience was easy to earn and took a reasonable amount of time to get to the endgame without dumping hundreds into platinum, then we could have quite a few more experience items and bonus weekends. But because it is extremely hard to reach end-game without platinum, we are expected to purchase platinum and still spend a ridiculous amount of time and money to get there. This game is absurd! Never in my life have I played a game such as this. I truthfully regret spending the money that I did. I wish I could have a refund and maybe spend only a fraction of what I have spent.
Now look at the game, 2 updates and 2 caps later, and you can expect that 400 hours to be reasonable above 1500 or maybe even 2000. I don't recall the person's name, but whoever got their character to 220 without elixirs. Look how long they've been playing for!! New players don't want to join a game to have to spend 2-3 years without spending money to get the end-game. Some people want to play in big clans, and others don't. Why must we be forced into such large clans with some people we may not even like? Why do we need 40 people to kill a boss? Why!?
I give up... OTM doesn't seem to get the hints, nor does it want to even try to please it players like it once did in 2011 and early 2012.
