Issues with profile avatar..

Why is it nearly impossible to find any pictures that fit the guidelines for forum avatars? I'm not into all the technological crap, but I resized my picture to fit the pixel guideline yet it still does not fit lmao, this needs fixed, I think it's kinda ridiculous how you can't just screenshot your character and crop it or something to use that..
