Are any of you having a hard time bringing up abilities?? I'm not at all, but was wondering if any other mages might be having problems bringing abilities up.

I have always been up to date on Fire ability. But Ice, is much more difficult to raise, at least in the past for me. About a month or so ago I finally broke down an bought a decent Ammy for health and energy. This week I maxed my Ice ability to 880, finally.

How did u get your ice magic abilites quick?

Well, I decided just to work on my ice skills for a while, along with a little bit of fire. I used to go to the dogs in highshore village or farcrag castle, and just spam them with lure of ice, lure of fire, and but any other ice skills on myself while waiting for the spells to cool down.

It may be a fluke, but I have noticed that my Ice Magic ability goes up fastest by spam casting Energy Shield. It is a fairly low energy skill and it cools down fast. I just got in the habit of casting it every time it cools down. The gains were much much faster than other Ice based skills.

Mine was like that too, but by the time I got to 85 it had caught up. Just cast ES literally every time it refreshes.
