Hello all

With the recent patch , just wondering whether any mages can provide advice on which set up is the best:

Pure Fire build
Pure Ice build
Mixed build

It be really helpful if you can explain what skills to use and why you think this build is better than the rest. Lets not include aggy items and say I have 150 odd skill points.
I heard pure fire build is apparently the best set up, can anyone confirm this as well?

Due to poor survivabilty ice is best if you don't miss
However due to the large number of evades fire works out better as there is very little downtime in the spell casting cycle but because this kills much slower you take damage which increases downtime inbetween kills after quite a bit of experimentation ice is prob best even though you will die if you get evaded as there is much less downtime especially if you have no energyshield at all and put 300-400points into vit as when you die theres enough points with half health to run back into combat straight away and you have an extra 30 points to put into damaging stuff

I would have to say full fire.

Full fire is the best at level 60-76 in my experience

Pure Ice for hell in seconds.
Pur fire for long fights.
Mix for, well, a balance between both.

Dont mix, you'll waste points on both attunes, both lures, or all four. Pick one. There is no Ice Cloak, so you should probably pick fire.

Im pure ice. Full ice attune, shards, blast and the other one i cant think of lol. I kill mobs instantly which is very helpful. With a 17 second downtime for both shards and blast.
