Excellent post Sweefish, I enjoyed reading that! Looking forward to further entries.
I'm hoping for less entries and more helms...

Nice to see that someone is enjoying the RNG's  or maybe they are just enjoying our reactions to them :-|

This post isn't meant to be hostile to you Difinitus, but your reply was poorly placed. The thread is about player frustration over a key game element, and rather than analyze and comment on our frustration, you said you enjoyed one of the posts and hope to see more...
I'm going to be optimistic and assume you were being genuine and enjoy the journal style for forum posts over the standard rant and argue, but even then it's hard to detach the idea that your reply was just a showcase of the team's disillusionment from player sentiments...
If the latter is the case, and the team isn't really taking feedback and has a harder stance on the drop rates, tell us please. Don't however ignore our pleads and blatantly show it off. I'm being optimistic that it was just a poorly placed reply, however I can't speak for how everyone read the reply...

Back to my corner to see if this game gets updated to where it needs to be :geek:
I understand the frustrations, but that is exactly why I moved it into OP's other thread over the same topic. The team knows how the Community feels about drop rates, it's the #1 topic every week on these forums, but right now I don't have any information to share regarding changes.

It is meant to be challenging and extremely rare. Could things in Celtic Heroes be improved? Sure, we're always looking for ways to make the game more enjoyable but increasing the drop rate is not something we're exploring at this time.

Unity Update first, fun stuff and balance changes after.
Delete feedback and suggestions then if you guys won’t listen lol.

Gotta have topic graveyard somewhere.

I think I'm missing where Difinitus says that VR won't listen...

F&S is exactly what the name says. Feedback on the game, and Suggestions to make it better. There's nothing forcing VR to make the changes that some of the players want. Whether the changes are in the better interest of the game is irrelevant. It's their game, they can go where they want with it. It's a good idea for them to listen to players, that's why they want feedback on the game, but that doesn't mean that they will act on it. I'm sure VR is well aware of all the complaints...every other topic these days is complaining about something or another.

As for Difinitus' basic plan for the future, that manages to cover both of the topics that forum-goers have been complaining about the most, more events and more balance changes. He didn't list them in order...they aren't focusing on events before permanent content...there's an And in there.
I think giving what the community what’s is much more appropriate than adding “fun stuff”

The reason this topic is always #1 is for the quite obvious reason that the community needs it. This game is desperate for endgame balance changes. Fun stuff is not going to improve the quality of the game it is just a facade for what it is like at endgame

Fun stuff shouldn’t even be an idea that levels with balance changes in terms of importance

Here’s a new idea.

Unity update, fix the game / balance changes, then the fun stuff
Yeah, but then they get a boatload of players complaining about the limited events there are doing, and wanting more complicated and extensive events...

I’ve started a new thread in the Gwydion server chat for the adventures of helmet hunting journal entries. This thread can go back to bashing poor decisions

I gotchu. I think a lot of the recent posts in F&S probably fit more in that forum, but hey, I ain't a mod.
