The bank should also follow the banner. And there should be viewability options for both clansmen and recruits at leadership/chief discretion as well.

All should be viewable but access to distribute should be limited. Maybe an option to decide who has access to retrieve it when it's being placed in bank. Could say that Royal and under can be taken out by guards and Imperial/Godly is for Generals and Chieftans...but not all godlys are the same. So each rank has a section that they can access.

Maybe for the time being they can at least make a system for “registering” bank accounts. This way there is no “oh no it isn’t a bank account” if someone “steals” it etc.
This would remove some of the grey area and allow for a small resolution while we wait for development of a more permanent one.

It’s a grey area banking no matter how u do it...

Enabling restrictions only from highest ranking gens/chief is probably a bad thing - as most corruption is at management level. (this is where the most value is lost within clans) I can’t be bothered to compile the list of how the robbery takes place (but you guys kinda know all the moves).

So the theory of lowest clan members get limited access and restrictions is condensending and not very OPEN as it might look, don’t forget they actually help you achieve it in the first place is so it’s flawed.

you cannot have a flawed banking system to start.

So your thinking does this guy have anything positive to say...I do

1.If you could time stamp items and also just have a limit of items per player ( enuff for your build only to hotbar 8 slots x2 ..16 items) Clan ACTIVITY Items in circulation) then any member of a clan can look up the item or members and query it with management.
2. You could link items to ACTIVITY so basically your clan vote on 24hr,48hr or 1 week on items. (top end clans would love the 24hr cause it means you gotta be active) if this player isn’t active item is sent back to a ‘Active Time Stamp Bank’. This idea shows YOUR a REAL CLAN and care for everyone.
3. you haven’t logged you lost your Activity items..simple you go to the Clan bank and prey nobody else has claimed also Because you have a (16 item gear max limit) you can swap and trade out whenever you want as well.

As far as transparency from your HIGH RANK management bankers you really dont have to worry about letting anyone use any items of value, rarity. Everyone valued the same

YOUR NEVER GONNA LOSE ANYTHING as a Active CLAN.

CLAN goes inactive when NONE of YOUR High Rank management LOGIN for 1 week (seems fair) Clan goes Dead. Any of the 16 jewellery/gear Items you have You Keep.

any your management did have...they lose.

This is where management really need to look at there management ...promotions/demotions to keep it in shape and to make sure Clan Doesn’t Die.

Should be a rigid formula, Instead of cheap talk on dying clans.

i hope for a system that just allowes the chief and Set (not all) Gens to manage the clan bank wich shud be located at a cool spot ( make a new small area with pedestrians waering all sorts of armory and weapons lying around where you can go with your members or alone but only the chief /set gens
can open the chest(bank) and manage it there.
makes the game more special and unique instead of just adding a non visual clan bank.

also id highly suggest you VR to add the possibility to accept and finish all armor quests directly from that area.

Have a locked bank that's open to view by any clansman and above, let the chief edit what items can be taken by guards and gens.

Your suggestions seem to only fit for your specific clan and system. Voting involves much favouritism and that is why many clans choose DKP for loot distribution instead.

+1 to clansman and up being able to view exactly what is in the bank. Also +1 to the chief being able to edit which specific gens/guards can take items or maybe even send them out to clanmembers. +1 to having a (non disappearing) chatlog that tells us exactly who added or took which items and when (I suggest a timestamp that doesn't just include the date and year but also the hour and minutes). Either have it as a different tab in the normal bank or a whole new thing, there is enough room for something like that in the castle anyway.

What I would like in a clan bank.

—Access for anyone clansman+ the ability to see in bank.
—Generals ability to set certain ranks that can and cannot take items.
Unlimited inventory (12 items per person is a joke to any clan that gets more than 1 boss a week).
—Ability to sort by class/type/gear level/ boss that dropped it.
—Make it so the clan can tag an item as clan gear. An option put in bank tab that allows a general when clicking on a person in clan to be able to pull clan marked gear off and back into clan bank, so inactive gear can be pulled off and re used for active players. This would also allow for generals to pull back gear from people who have quit the clan and try to sell clan gear.
—An option needs to be in there that if general doesn’t log in for a month or so that the leadership role is passed on to next guardian ( add an option for general to setup a list of names who would take control of bank of general goes inactive).
—A list of non disappearing withdrawals and Deposit information.

I will edit this if I can think of more. But these options would make a wonderful clan bank.
