How does Robin Hood show characteristics of an Anglo-Saxon/ Celtic hero?

How does the Oni set fit? Or the Samurai set? all I know is a bunch of IRL Celts only took a shield and weapon into battle, no clothes. That and the place was populated by warlords some of which so powerful and wealthy they had gold jewelry made for them. I have no clue what they used for armour otherwise but I'd look up the Iron Age.
