Does lifesteal do poison damage ? Also it was rumors for ages it was , ofc it’s useless for endgame but wondering

Does 0 dmg to necro, im guessing thats why most say its poison base.

It’s most likely because OTM actually bothered to put creativity into necro that hasn’t been seen in any other boss. Life steal was implemented the same time necro was so they probably figured and thought what was said previously “you can’t steal life from an undead necromancer” lol. He steals your life (quite literally for some people lmao), you can’t steal his.

You see lifesteal near it’s true stats in carrow it seems a lot more then tower hitting closer to the numbers

I really have no idel what its base on
but i wont really shot down the ideal of it not being poison just cause "you cant steal life from an undead" until i see a dev come out and say so or i see good enough facts to prove its 100% poison base.

it is almost certainly poison damage. Not only has everyone assumed it's poison damage, it doesn't do any damage on things that are immune to poison. Not just the necromancer, but also the monoliths and such, while it does almost Max damage to everything before the tower that has zero poison resistance and seems to go down in what percent of the damage it does in a place like the tower where everything does have poison resistance.
