I'm trying to understand the reasoning behind this event. The timing is awful with Easter weekend, and also why dragon carnage why not increased bt or gele spawn times? Something people actually want.

I assume because they said the new expansion will have a dragon, get some hype going

^^ new boss is a drag, not a mini gele xD... Guarantee some people want this event, I'm going to be singing with my church all weekend since we're practicing for our Easter Sunday service and I won't complain about it.

Who doesn't like dragons?

We will do similar events with other bosses later on, that fit with their themes (like Proteus and Gele, etc).

I’ll admit the timing isn’t always the best for some events, (Dragon Event on Easter, 1.5x XP on Christmas), but I for one am very excited about this event.

They always seem to add some changes for every event to avoid repetition which I think is a great idea.

Although I’m still waiting for the undead creatures to get some love (Hrung and Necro)

Also @admins, what time does the Dragon Event end?

Is it going to be exactly 72 hours from start and therefore be ending
