I've a lvl 54 mage on Epona.
( 5 characters on Fingal level 85 to 115 an have not seen this before)
All my mount skills are 540 for mounts I don't have.
I use a bear mount and cast resilience constantly yet it's 0/10 in Abilities tab
I don't know why it's like this nor how To correct this...

Is the ability shown in your abilities page called bear riding or bear taming? It’s possible you may have learned the ability for bear pets, not bear mounts.

you need to bind it to your hot tab

Is the ability shown in your abilities page called bear riding or bear taming? It’s possible you may have learned the ability for bear pets, not bear mounts.

Yes it does say Bear Taming.
Is their another npc that teaches riding skill ?
Kills me that my 7 characters ( lvl 86-115 ) on Fingal all have riding skill yet I can't recall how I did it.

you need to bind it to your hot tab

I had the resilience skill on hot bar
for a week and hit it every time it refreshed. was annoying me it didn't increase at all.
(Since I had 2 mini-strokes my head has been a little scrambled with memory loss)

Yes, you will need to speak to Remus the mount vendor at the Farcrag Bailey leystone. Talk to him about a War Bear, then you should have the option to learn Bear Riding for 100g.
