No, it was specifically said that the roots will be changed to have additional buffs that make the boss harder if you leave them up. Bashing to circumvent it is obviously unintended, and basically makes the boss the same as before they added the heal.

Our main tank has it, extremely useful

we went for attempt yesterday, had we know this strategy earlier hed be dead by now, we had around 60 players online, about 55 could join fight and about 49 players were above 220and about and other 6 like 215-219.

we managed the fight kinda good stil
we got him to 10% twice before rage, lost some dg dps before second attempt or he wouldve been dead now. nexxt attempt is on sunday with some ppl using lvl 8 offhand (2-3 ppl)

It doesn't actually as you have to deal with the tier 4 ultra buff.
