Hello everyone, may i present to you my (well it's ugly but whatever) hand drawn armour , including the weapons.
Here is the
wooden armour of the magic forest.
The wooden armour is created by the high celtic priests which worship the god taranis (depicted with a wooden wheel).
One day they were attacked by the fearsome shambling hulks, the protectors of hrungnir. The hulks came ou of the stinky sewers, they marched trough fingals cave, trough shalmont ravines, caused death and destruction wherever they passed. Once they reached lirs reach , whole shalemont and fingals was destroyed, more than 50% of all the citizenty were dead, the others either fled the celtic lands or tried to set up an army against the mighty hulks.
Meanwhile in lirs reach , there were rumours about the hulks coming to lirs reach and clearing the path so hrungnir could come freely to lirs reach. Some believe these rumours and went to fargac castle to seek safety and shelter. The others, the ones who strongly believed the tales about hrungnir and the hulks were fake stayed in lirs pretending like nothig could ever happen to them, eventualy they would die of pox caused by the hulks.
Meanwhile a lot of people arrived in the castle, not only burgers but also celtic heroes, kings from other lands, wizards, druids and even the wyrmtamers which used to protect the fearsome aggragoth sought protection here. They all knew they could not hide in the castle forever, they would eventualy run out of food and water.
This is were the worshipers of taranis come into the story.
One week passed in te castle , many brave warriors , rogues, mages, rangers and druids traveled back to lirs reach to try to defeat hrungnir and his apprentices, but none returned. The druids of taranis were worshiping their master when all of the sudden he appeared, he spoke to them about magic wood somewhere in another world far away from fargac castle, the other world. Taranis told his apprentices to go to the otherworld, chop down some ancient magic trees and craft them into a pox resistent armour.
So it began, they prepared to go on this long journey to the other world. 5 brave wardens joined the druids: kyna, elidyr, niamh, carraden, rhyanne and davin. At the end of the journey they decided to stay in the otherworld to reward brave heroes with the frozen armour and weapon.
So their journey began, they crept out of the castle trough a secret passage close to croockback hollows, they fought their way trough the crookbacks which were converted to the dark side by hrungnir. When they arrived in shalemont the only thing they saw was complete chaos, the connachts were supressing the poor villagers. Their leader , atrisal, appointed 12 leaders, the defectors. These defectors prevented our heroes to travel to travel to stonevale , so they only had 2 options, they either returned to lirs reach, where they would find a certain dead, or they would try ti defeat these 12 defectors and their feared leader astrisal.
After some heavy battles the heroes finaly managed to defeat astrisal and claim his golden ignot , the item only the leader of shalmont can possess.
The journey wasn't over yet, contrary, the situation in stonevale was way worse than in shalemont, here in stonevlale falgren ruled these lands, surpressing every villiger and execute everyone who tries to overtrow him. Our heroes tried to reach the portal to the otherworld without having to face falgren, but ofcourse they failed, they had to face many more giant and powerfull creatures, after houre long battles against fellfire, chillmist, and many others they finaly arrived at the otherworld portal. The moment they tried to enter the portal it turned black and spoke the following words:" if you wish to pass, you will have to defeat falgren." But falgren was nowhere to be seen. After hours of camping the portal he finaly arrived. The fight took hours, they were evenly matched. After a 5 hour long fight he finaly went down and the portal turned red.
When they arrived at the otherworld they immediately started chopping down a tree and collecting the logs. After collecting the logs they traveled back to the castle without any difficulties. With the help of agnus the blacksmith they were able to forge the armour into the wooden armour of te magic forest and the shiny weapons of the magic trees. The armour was given to the last brave celtic heroes which faced hrungnir and repulse him back into the sewers, where they locked him away hoping that they would never have to face him again.
That is te background of te armour.
What is so special about it?
It is made of magic wood from the otherworld and is hard as steel and resists the pox.
The complete set includes main and offhand.
The mainhands have been immersed in ever lasting poison. The offhands have a skill which boost your defence a lot. The mages and druid main and offhands also include focus while the dps classes have str and dex (50/50)
