Thats true but while u are on ground (dead) u arent counted as in combat ... and u can hotswap to old mount, then ressurect and u dont get dismounted status ... so u just resurrect and swap back to battlemount - 0 whistles needed :) And you just brought that to otm attention, and it'll be fixed.......

The best pet for damage overall is a spider imo. Pierce is just ridiculously resisted on end game compared to poison. Though Poison skills have a lower max hit its on a lower resistance mob usually. A maxed silver dog with maxed ability is 2.3k pierce damage and -500 defence. On the description.
