Finally got to it, proves that just because you have items, it doesn't mean you can get the gold for them. The economy has its limits.

Yup, hoarders and merchers wreck economies. It’s great that it can be done, but the reason it isn’t done so much is not because it’s hard, but because it’s not a good thing to do.

Thankfully fury doesn’t play EG, so the gold just sits there in a gold sink. But for the majority that merch heavily they play EG and then when something new comes out they mass drop gold and send economy into a panic attack. It’s not good for anyone. Even for plat buyers and chest sellers as gold becomes worthless for the next few months.

250m is excessive. Where’s the fun in having so much gold that you have nothing to do with 95% of it.
