Rogue Leveling Guide 1-200

#1
To start, you require some starting gold, I recommend buying 4,000 Platinum and selling 75% of it.

So, with your gold you need to buy Lux from Quigley, Buy a Heroic Amulet of Rejuvenation, Heroic boots of speed, Heroic gloves of haste, a golden bodkin of spirits and a Golden helm of bloodlust is recommended.

(ALL OF THIS SHOULD BE DONE ON SUPER COMBINATION ELIXIRS OR SUPER KNOWLEGE)

1-20

At this stage, just follow the quest line, it should take you up to level 20 as long as you kill a few mobs at the quest locations, while leveling, place all of your stat points in strength.

20-30

You should do this in Dustwither cactacombs, starting at the rotting acolytes an moving down to the Dead guards,
Should take 15 minutes if done efficiently.

All stat points should be put in strength.

30-60

Shalemont Ravine should be your only location at this level, kill mobs 1-3 levels above with 2 or more *'s for the most efficient leveling, following the quest's should take you to the correct mobs while getting you bonus exp.

All stat points should be added to strength.
60-80

There are 2 quests here, The evil in Stonevale and the Tam Lin quests, the Tam quests are very easy with quite high exp rewards.

After the quest, at Stonevale farm, if you go towards the blue wisps you can follow the path killing them all, at the end of the path go right, continuing to kill the wisps, there should be a path going right again, follow the path continuing to kill the wisps as you go down the path, at the end of this fast-travel back to the farm and repeat the process until level 70.

At level 70 you should go to the druids near the portal and kill the ones closest to your level.

All stats in from this should be put into vitality.

80-120

At this point you should have sufficient money to buy diamond armour, so, do the quartz and diamond quests and buy the Diamond Breastplate, Greaves and Dagger.

Then you need to kill the eyes until level 100, this is very easy but group killing is advised.

Next, you need to kill trees and kelpies until level 120.

Stat points should be split between Dexterity and Vitality.

120-130

This is where it gets harder, killing golems, I highly recommend you use a group to make this most efficient, but other than that just level on the ones closest to your level.

Stat points split between strength and vitality.

130-139

Kill Embermanes at this point for the fastest leveling and you should be leveling fast, no group is required at this point.

Split stat points between what you require the most.

139-150

Kill blackstones until level 141, at this point you should be able to solo wyverns given than you buy stronger equipment, continue to level on wyverns until level 150.

I hope this can help you level fast, should only take 1-2 weeks if you're well supplied on platinum.

EDIT

Skills: Poison Weapon, Fast Reflexes, Shadow Strike, Quick Strike, Your choice.

60-100

At this level you can level in the Dunskeig Sewers, you can go all the way to level 90 on the Hawkhurst mobs, not only are these mobs quite good exp, they drop the coveted Hawkhurst chests which may hold some value on your world due to the fashion they can give. You can also pick up the Cargo chests that are scattered in the sewers, these can sell pretty well due to their demand because of Hrungnir.

Stats above.

100-105

At this level you can alternatively level at the Coppinger mobs, which give good exp and also means you will be camping the boss which can get you loot to sell of high value.

140-150

Level 140-150 is an interesting point in the game, there are 3 parallel levelling zones. It is highly recommended that you pair with a druid at this point since the damage of the mobs your level increases massively.

You can either level in 3 areas, the Wyverns in the Otherworld, the Glashynts in Fingal's Cave, or the spiders in the Carrowmore Tunnels. I would recommend leveling in Fingals cave until you reach level 151 as the mobs seem to hit low and die quite easily.

You should dump all of you stat points into vitality at this stage and have atleast 350.

151-165

At level 150, you should take advantage of the new 'luxury' items that are available. The best items to increase your dps and therefore your leveling are the 300 Heat damage axe, the 90 heat helm and the 120 heat damage necklace. This is because generally mobs are weaker against fire than any other skill.

The mobs you should be leveling on are the boggans, they are die very easily and there are an abundance of mobs in the caves. You should level in the appropriate cave, the one with the mobs closest to your level.

Alot of your stat points should be placed into Dexterity, having atleast 200-300. (A restat may be required)

165-(170-181)

At level 165 you should level on the Firbolg mobs. The tunnels have a seemingly random layout at this point, although there are caves for every level, you just need to go deeper to find the right cave. At level 170 you can either stay at the Firbolg caves, or go into the Snorri canyon in which all the mobs are level 180 although they seem to be very easy considering. A druid is needed for these mobs due to their higher damage. You should level here until level 182.

For this zone, you will need alot of vitality. I recommend atleast 400-500, 300 points in dex, 30 in Focus then the rest in strength.

182-200

Now you have the long, tedious grind of killing mainly level 180 mobs in order to achieve level 190, and if you're really determined level 200.

The points you invest at this stage will be determined by the role you want to play. Spend them wisely.

Good luck

VENUS VERSION

To start, you require some starting gold, I recommend buying 4,000 Platinum and buying chests/combos and selling them all for profit.

So, with your gold you need to buy old lux from a player, or from the lux merchant Quigley(not recommended), Buy a Heroic Amulet of Rejuvenation, Heroic boots of speed, Heroic gloves of haste. Also purchase a gold blade/trident of ice/fire for once you reach level 50 as well as a decent stack of super knowledge/combo elixirs and restoration potions and idols. You'll also want to get your hands on two skills, shadowstrike and life steal. These are highly important! You'll be sticking with starter armour and dagger until about level 80 unless you can pick up some upgrades(darkrun armour) along the way.

(ALL OF THIS SHOULD BE DONE WITH THE BASIC LUX ITEMS PURCHASED ABOVE AND MOST OF ITON SUPER COMBINATION ELIXIRS OR SUPER KNOWLEDGE)

1-20 DON'T USE ELIXIRS!

At this stage, just follow the quest line, it should take you up to level 20 as long as you kill a few mobs at the quest locations, while leveling, place all of your stat points in strength.

20-30 (DON'T USE ELIXIRS UNLESS DESPERATE)

You should do this in Dustwither cactacombs, starting at the rotting acolytes an moving down to the Dead guards. IF YOU PICK UP A CRUEL DAGGER THEN USE IT, THIS IS A FANTASTIC WEAPON!

ALL STAT POINTS SHOULD BE PUT IN VIT.

30-52 (DON'T USE ELIXIRS UNLESS DESPERATE)

Shalemont Ravine should be your only location at this level, kill mobs 1-3 levels above with 2 or more *'s for the most efficient leveling, following the quest's should take you to the correct mobs while getting you bonus exp. Connacht Ribbonswords are HIGHLY recommended from levels 45 onward as they only have 250 hp and don't hit very hard, all while giving fantastic xp.

PUT ENOUGH VITALITY TO BRING YOU TO 500 HP AND THE REST IN STRENGTH

52-78 LIX HERE IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO SPEND, VERY EASY TO DO WITHOUT LIXING THOUGH

Start with killing boars to about 55, then move onto fairies and red wisps until about 60. Once you reach 60 you can start killing blue wisps while weaving your way through the grove killing anything around 60-69. You should reach about level 69 in the grove area and then you should move onto the druids and kill the ones closest to your level. Stay there until about 78 and you're off to the otherworld. There are 2 quests here, The evil in Stonevale and the Tam Lin quests, the Tam quests are very easy with quite high exp rewards.

After the quest, at Stonevale farm, Not sure if this is still relevant information!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ABOUT 1000 HP, THEN ADD THE REST INTO DEXTERITY(THAT WILL HELP YOU SURVIVE!)

78-95 (LIXING FROM HERE ON SAVES A LOT OF TIME AND IS RECOMMENDED)

At this point you should have sufficient money to buy fragments. Pick up the quest from Sveyn the messenger in stonevale and complete the quests(buying all the fragments you need) to obtain your warden armour. DO NOT REPLACE YOUR HEROIC GLOVES AND BOOTS WITH WARDEN GLOVES AND BOOTS! And make sure you get your dagger if you're at level 85 before your breastplate if dragon fragments are scarce!
Then you need to kill the eyes until level 95. Move down the different colours of eyes(red, turq, purple, and blue) every time you hit a level below the max level of a certain colour. This shouldn't be too hard.

(IF YOU FIND YOURSELF DYING A LOT ADD MORE TO VITALITY AND/OR DEX, IF YOU'RE SURVIVING WELL THEN ADD TO STRENGTH)

95-120 ( IF YOU HAVEN'T STARTED LIXING, NOW'S THE TIME!)

Next, you need to kill trees and kelpies until level 107 (ONCE YOU HIT 100 MAKE SUE YOU UPGRADE YOUR LUX! I RECOMMEND A DAGGER OF SLAYING AND A TALISMAN OF EARTH, KEEP YOUR HEROIC GLOVES AND BOOTS! ALSO BE SURE TO HEAD BACK TO THE WARDENS AND UPGRADE YOUR WARDEN TO METEORIC BY PURCHASING THE UPGRADE ITEMS FROM OTHER PLAYERS OR KILLING THE BOSSES THAT DROP THEM!), follow the same tips mentioned above for you stat points. Move onto killing the green wraiths once you reach 107 and slowly progress into the purple wraiths. This is the zone that I call hell because honestly the exp is terrible here, just push your way to about 115 on the purple wraiths and head down to the ashy trees until about 120.

Stat points should be split between Dexterity and Vitality.

At this points you should have about 2k hp, around 150 dex and the rest in strength.

120-130 (SERIOUSLY, START LIXING!)

This is where it gets harder, killing golems, I highly recommend you use a group(another rogue or a druid) to make this most efficient, but other than that just level on the ones closest to your level.

THIS IS THE POINT WHERE YOUR STAT PLACEMENT IS DEPENDANT ON GEAR FROM HERE ON. IF YOU FIND YOURSELF DYING OR BURNING POTS, ADD MORE TO VIT AND DEX(MORE VIT THAN DEX), IF YOU'RE HAVING NO TROUBLE WITH DEATHS THEN BUMP UP THE STR(A LITTLE IN DEX IS GREAT TOO)

130-135 ish

Kill Embermanes, and the fire golems at this point for the fastest leveling and you should be leveling fast, I recommend sticking with your group you previously had or picking up another rogue/druid as levelling here can be deadly.

Remember what was said about stat points earlier.

130-150

Level 130-150 is an interesting point in the game, there are 2 parallel levelling zones. It is highly recommended that you pair with a druid at this point since the damage of the mobs your level increases massively. (MAKE SURE YOU EITHER GET YOU FROZEN DAGGER OR BUY A WYRMBONE DAGGER FOR 140 ONWARD!)

You can either level in 2 areas, the golems/wyverns in the Otherworld(decent xp), or the boggans(highly recommended as you can collect bone shards for an extreme upgrade to armour.)in the Carrowmore Tunnels.

You should be at 2.5k hp now with a decent split between strength and dexterity, possibly favouring dexterity due to lack of fantastic gear.

YOU SHOULD FIND A DRUID BUDDY TO LEVEL WITH FROM 150 ONWARD IF YOU'VE BEEN SOLOING THE PAST LEVELS! IT GETS QUITE TOUGH AND EXPENSIVE FROM HERE ON OUT SOLOING!

151-161

At level 150, you should take advantage of the new 'luxury' items that are available. The best items to purchase would be a dagger of bounty, talisman of stars, bracelet of souls, and a haste ring to ditch your heroic gloves. You'll want to swap those gloves out for ancient beastbone gloves, the ones you've been collecting bone shards for.

The mobs you should be leveling on are the boggans, they are die very easily and there are an abundance of mobs in the caves. You should level in the appropriate cave, the one with the mobs closest to your level.
AT 160 YOU SHOULD PICK UP AN ANCIENT WYRMBONE DAGGER, YOU WILL USE THIS UNTIL YOU MANAGE TO GET A DRAGONLORD DAGGER!(GOOD LUCK LOL!)

(A restat may be required as you will need over 3k hp from 160 onward.)

AT THIS POINT YOU SHOULD PROBABLY BE KILLING DRAGONLORD BOSSES WORKING TOWARDS DRAGONLORD ARMOUR, EVERY PIECE IS A FANTASTIC UPGRADE TO ANCIENT BEASTBONE AND IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO BE ACTIVELY WORKING TOWARDS IT!

161 - 182

At level 161 you should level on the Firbolg mobs. Just progress down the path to reach higher level firbolgs in different caves. At level 177 you can either stay at the Firbolg caves for a bit longer, or go into the Snorri canyon in which all the mobs are level 180. You should level here until level 182.

182-200

For this zone, you will need alot of vitality. I recommend around 4k-4.5k hp, 300 or so dex, and the rest in strength. Level with a druid or be prepared to die/burn plenty of restores. Head down into the southermost cirrcle room on you map and that's where you'll live for the next few weeks if you want to grind forever until 200(please don't do this!). You'll basically want to kill the wyrms until about 185 and then move onto the trolls until you either rip your hair out from frustation or get extremely bored. I highly recommend only going to about 190 in this area and to do killain/ any other daily xp quest to level up from here on as the costs are absurd otherwise.

ALTERNATIVES

60-100

At this level you can level in the Dunskeig Sewers and on pirates in fingals cave,I reccomend pirates from 75-88, not only are these mobs quite good exp, they drop the various items that can be sold for decent gold. You can also pick up the Cargo chests that are scattered in the sewers, these can sell pretty well due to their demand because of Hrungnir.

100-105

At this level you can alternatively level at the Coppinger mobs, which give good exp and also means you will be camping the boss which can get you loot to sell of high value.Or you can kill spiders by shrouded span until about 105

185-191

You can choose to level on the adds of the curent high level event boss, you'll get fairly decent experience here especially in a group with another rogue and a druid.

191+

Just do dailies, don't waste your elixirs!
Good luck

I hope I covered everything, it's very late. Tell me if anything is missing.

Also, golden helm of bloodlust is no longer available from the lux shop. You'll have to buy it from another player.

Insane? Clearly you don't know much, the lux and combos I recommended will give you more than sufficient health to level on all mobs Lirs -Stonevale and the strength meaning you can use the starter weapon along with the lux for rapid attack speed and moderate damage.

This can also be done without buying platinum but is obviously a lot harder.

I don't recommend using any XP elixirs before level 100. In the early part of the game you need to build up your abilities.

Kill trees and kelpies? Too vague

Kill blackstones until 145? Are you insane?
They changed the mobs around the obelisks so obviously this is obsolete at level 140, but the trees and kelpies is too vague? Would you like a better description like The trees red and brown tress that look like Ent's from LOTOR and the blue rainbow coloured horses?

Using wisdom elixirs counteracts this effect.
