i'm deciding whether to dump extra skill points into steady aim or sharpen weapons and i'm wondering which one adds more damage thanks in advance

Depends on level. I'd definitely dump points on steady first

At 50/50, my steady aim adds approximately 270 dmg and 650 attack.

Definitely worth putting points into.

Here is the boosts from steady aim on the two of my rangers. The 227 ranger is decked out but not in ranged combat gear. The 205 ranger has about 2000 ranged conbat addon.

227 ranger (1340 dex) 50/50 steady adds - 775 attack 328 damage

205 ranger (630 dex) 48/50 steady adds - 621 attack 260 damage
