Made some stupid mistakes in my haste.

Let me look at the clues.

• It's a quest item in Shalemont
• It's not an arrow as it says down the side and not inside!
• It's got to be the storyline in Shalemont, where you have to kill a connacht ranger mob type.
• This item is currently obstructed.

Gosh, I haven't done Shalemont in 2 years... Something is escaping me
I know for a fact that you have to kill Trappers that use bolas and obstruct you. But they drop nothing.

Darion's letter could work :
Drops from a ranger type mob
The letter is about plans for a war, and taking it allows the npc from the camp to counter them.
This ranger is pretty hard for someone his level or lower. Still possible though.

In a land with a gorge, a camp and a river, (shalenont- telling the location)
Stuffed down the side of my Master's quiver, (a letter hidden on darions person but telling you heS a ranger)
Unobstructed I'd lead them all to their fate, (the exact words in the letter)
So PM a high level, before it's too late. (Hes too OP for any equal lvl) i kno uve all had a msg, help with darrion lol
