I know that mages love this skill, but it gives an unfair advantage. In pvp, they can just sit there as a person who is 20 levels higher then them whales away, while casting spells on them, killing them easily. I just hate it! It needs to be removed. EDIT: I DONT THINK SO ANYMORE CARRY ON

There are many previous posts out there that explain why. Yes at first it looks horrifying but they are mages, I've done this with my lvl 30 mage and I rarely die in pvp. I don't think complaining that mages are op in the mage forums will do any help in any way. For now, just Keep Calm and Carry On.

I hope this skill isn't removed because as a mage, my armor is bad. I cannot take too many hits when it breaks. So, it's op in pvp but it's a lifesaver when solo training

I have 94 hp, maxed shield, and i die almost every time in pvp. shield isn't op, i mean really, cmon, this is a pvp duel:

Preparing to duel whiner, 3 2 1
Whiner endures lure of ice
Whiner cast giant swing on u
Ice shards succeeded (1500 dmg )
Whiner cast pummel on u
Whiner cast sweeping blow on u
Auto 300 like 5 times (1500 dmg total)
Whiner cast pummel on u
Lure of fire succeeded (1200 dmg)
Lure of ice succeeded
Ice shards succeeded (2400 dmg)
Firebolt succeeded
Boom mage is dead (after a few autos)

Ahem keep in mind that it eats away a HUGE chunk of energy from you.
It's like sacrifice except it's exchanging energy for health lol.
I think ur probably pissed off bc you can't see the damages being done, but keep in mind, eshield eats a HUGE chunk of energy.
Eshield is like the substitute for our low armor.
Warriors got proc with high armor, rangers got bolas, druids got their awesome buffs, rogues got their high autos, while mages got their toothpicks .

About mages being fine as is.... I dont know how true that is. Im barely level 78 and I have energy problems when leveling. I have 40 energy regen in items and 40 in the energy boost but it still doesn't even, break even in long fights or hardcore leveling. Every shield is the only reason mages can do anything. If energy shield is op'ed, then so is a warriors armor, a rogues dps, and a druids heal.*EDIT- and a rangers bolas*
