Re: Flamingduckee's overview of skills

I see you made a BIG mistake, you forgot to put in the skill Howling Wind, this is maybe one of the best skill with bark, because, without this skill, during dpsing, you allways ge tinterupted for heals and attack, and that is how you guys die, personnaly, its only 6/15 (yes my druid is 47 lol), and it reduces attack by 200!!!
Also get it to 30/30, it will reduce attack by 1300+ and you and the tanks will use less plat! :)
between, very nice guide :)
Make a cooler presentation next time and it may be sticked :P
Away from mabon sorry guys!

Ok so there are many who always ask questions about what skills to use and etc. well i will tell u them i will update it often and maybe add some builds :D

*** - means u need it
**- means recomended
*- means its ok skill feel free to put points in it

1. Natures touch - absolutely needed for every druid no matter what because thats what druid are for healing...***
2. Natures embrace - good for training and especially dual devicing with ur nooby ranger or rouge good for tick and pretty good ovr good when dpsing because u can just apply it and fight no worrys about healing**
3. Bark- exteremly good for bosses max it up and it can give u about 400+ armor when its 25/25 and u need a tank Bam 400+ armor and theres a tank and this also work with abundance for tanks just good overall and good for soloing**
4. Strangle vines - best skill for druid absolute must can give u tons of dmg per tick if u dont use it ur not a druid***
5. Stinging swarm- good skill against bosses high energy cost and gives poison dmg would say its a*
6. Sanctuary - bad skill long cooldown not enough dmg protection only thing that would be useful is lvl and gladiator*
7. Calm- basically taunt but u cast on ppl its horrible*
8. Rescue- not many ppl use it is bad only good for trolling *
9. Abundant aura- same as abundance except cast in grp its really not that good its not enough health to really give ppl:/*
10. Lightning strike- well its a iffy i dont really use it but its good like mages fire bolt ill say ** because many ppl use it but i just dont have enough skill points lol
11. Storm touch- good damage and long cooldown its ok its good if ur racing to get lock but it costs a lot of energy too*
12. Energy harvest- its pretty good if u dont really have sigils or regen but if u do its just a waste *
13. Roots- its a need for most builds but can be evaded a LOT its good when u solo on hrung adds and trolls if ur a low lvl its not really useful but if ur high lvl its a ***
14. Wards- ehh not that good except for pvp no one really uses it so just dont get them*
15. Spring of life- I'm not even gonna say anything for this skill its HORRIBLE im not even gonna put a star

Well i thinks thats all post questions ,suggestions, and anything related
Bye, :D
lets go by numbering ur list so it'll be easier for me to comment

1. its not a must, its the best healing skill ofc, but not a must lvling skill, some druids go full dps to speed up lvling
2. embrace is really my favorite skill, i love having that heal per tick, good for lvling, even as dps or hybrid, amazing for support
3. bark, amazing skill, increases armour which means reduces all dmg taken which means less healing which means less energy usage
4. vines is the best DoT skill , enough said.
5. swarm, Poison DoT, a must for dps druids imo (dps not hybrid)
6. the skill has great potential, AoE group buff that is like shield wall, but the dmg protection is very low
7. calm, the total opposite of taunt, its like distract but expect of casting on bosses to lower the aggro u take, u cast it on urself or on others
8. the trolling skill, with rings only its up to lvl 80 for my noob druid, i love trolling my good friend Viserys known as ma sis Leafy, also some heal per tick
9. i dont like this skill at all, low range, low buff, slow casting, if i remember long cooldown as well, not sure about energy cost
10. great dps skill, fast casting, low energy cost (comparing to all other druid's skills), very strong, but not same as firebolt, cooldown is longer, no attune, and most likely no magic lure, but since magic resistance is usually lower its great
11. storm touch, can be good as an extra dps skill, but the dmg is usually not even close to the dmg it shows, fast casting tho, long cooldown, high energy cost, and the damn thing that u need to have melee range (even closer actually) which ruins roots builds
12. lame skill, takes almost half of the energy it drains
13. roots, great skill for bossing and soloing builds, life saver on bosses
14. wards, all of them are amazing, but u wont see much support druids with wards, i think that wards druids should be out there like there are lure mages, but all those ward druids should have at least nature touch and maybe nature breath (mostly since theres only one embrace bark and abudance needed on tank, and abudant aura if u wanna include), elemental resists are lower, so adding wards will do wonders, also the combination of 3 physical wards is like another armour bonus
15. Spring of Life, worst skill ever.

hope u would like to compare ur point of view with mine, if it helps

I just have to say something Natures touch is good for all cases dps or not and i dont really suggest solo lvling at lvl 100 or around that u will get horrible exp just train with ppl u dont have to use energy lixes and its just easier...

Agree with Saavy, calm is a great skill, and also agree with OP that you don't need to max it for it to be useful. I have no points in it and switch in my +3 calm ring when needed, and that usually works fine coupled with the tank's taunt. Calm is probably the most underrated druid skill IMO.

I use swarm all the time and like it a lot, but it has MASSIVE energy requirement when maxed. When I hit 140 and get ancient bone hands I'll prob switch it for lightning.

Exactly my point for stinging swarm when ur a low lvl sure u have meditate and maybe regen but really stinging swarm is not a needed skill its only for bosses wasted ur energy and just no enough dmg at 25/25 only 371 poison dmg or so even though its poison dmg its only good for bosses and why would a lvl 50 druid be in a boss fight i would pick a lvl 100 one instead

This is a confusing guide as it is mainly for a hybrid build.

For example if it was for a dps build or support build the number of stars for some skills would be very different. In general it is an ok over view but its hard to say if your star system is right as people have different set ups and preferences if you know what im taking about.

Maybe next time state which build its for? :)
+1 and ppl buy plat so noobs mite b dps or support... They need to kno!
