I think when you put into context that that’s 40 helms dropping in a year it seems like quite a lot.
And those numbers seem ok? You think someone who has been killing BT for 1 year to receive a helmet is fair? Maybe if those numbers were shifted a little, to suit shadow/void a little more it would help, but then another conundrum occurs, now you have all different types of helms, and class specific for BT increasing that time for that 1 person to receive a helm.

I think those numbers (maybe even a little less like 20-25 a year) spread a little more even for BT, it would feel more rewarding
I feel like people are forgetting that in 50 kills they have 200 best in slot items? (Basically all are usable)

4 per person for a clan of 50, all the items are really good.

Helms being rare just means there’s always something to strive for. However I do think not getting 1 in 50 is excessive, probably just bad RNG though.

101 of the drops are sitting in the guild bank right now.

“There’s always something to strive for...”

What does that even mean? The drop rates in this game keep Mordris helmets as something to strive for... Hrung helmets as something to strive for... grand+ bow and dagger Necro rings as something to strive for... dark Gele weapons as something to strive for... hundreds of pures for something to strive for... Royal and above Mordris bracelets, Prot bracelets to strive for...

Since 2013, there are still drops in the game that have end game players “striving” for them. I mean, cmon. That’s a super cop out...

A clan of 50? To produce 50-60 players per raid, clans have to have a large roster. If people were rewarded for their time, there’d be less turnover of burnout churn. It’s a lottery. How long can you stay active and competitive for loot while waiting for something to strive for? People take breaks from the game from burnout. So much activity required, and so little reward from it.

And if your server has competition? Jeez, it’s 100-120 people actively fighting over something to strive for...

The Necklaces for DPS are not best in class. The recast rings are a crap shoot. No they aren’t even a crap shoot, a crap shoot has a higher percent of being desirable. It more like a spin at the roulette table with the recast rings. We have a list of 75 players whom all have enough DKP currency to buy upgrades but we have over half (101 out of 200) of our Bloodthorn drops sitting in bank because they aren’t upgrades.

This is crazy numbers and needs a fix asap...
This is something that can be and has to be done.
You expect a boss with almost twice as many numbers needed as the last endgame boss to drop something bad a** each kill.. and im very greatful for the imperial slot thing.. but rather have higher droprate like mordy on helms and no exclusive imperial drop than one imperial drop thats light heal or life steal or strangling vines every single time... not to mention the rarity of ability rings and the pures from prot..

My suggestion would be to have gelebron drop 1 pure as it is now and 50% chance to drop pure in second conflux slot and also when comes to base should be 50/50 on pure/classconflux and on prime like 80%pure and 20% class conflux.. this way there wont be 500 classconfluxes laying around in bank and more ppl will be happy..
And how about the echos, will there be any use for these?
Should also check the drop rates for bardings on treasure chests on factions... we have done 1000 faction troves without a single drop of barding.. the chances are pretty low.. we been killing for how many weeks now? 24-26? ..
And still noone have had it drop from chests.. do they even exist? :shock: :lol:

Cant wait for beta to see the new graphics.. gon be dope!!

The bardings dropped in beginning of update and hasnt since. Probably got removed secretly in these mysterious resets.

Necklaces could be revamped to become best in slot across the board. This is a more realistic demand and something people should be advocating for IMO.

You guys just might have been really really unlucky, since other servers received 1 or 2 by now. +1 still for increasing drop rates tho.
I realised the seeds would be a wasted component after a while when everyone has T10, so maybe lets say 20 seeds can be traded for a helm of your choice or even random class'es
Which servers are those ?? Danu has 25 kills and still no helm either.

The drop rates should be as follows:
Dark: 1 in 4 kills chance
Shadow: 1 in 10 kills chance
Void: 1 in 25 kills chance
So an item better than a Void Mordris Helm should drop every 2 weeks? So we’d have 25 new superior than void Mordris helms in a year?

You’d reach a point of saturation pretty quickly. Not only that, but it also drops Best In Slots for Charms, Necklaces and Rings for all classes. Not sure why helms have to be common.
An comparison so mord helm is very unfair, first of all the items are designed for lvl 190s not 220, so naturally a drop 30 lvls higher should be better even then mordy helms don’t give u dg aura so aren’t designed for newer gear.

A fairer comparison is to dg helm which is endgame, a royal helm isn’t that much better to justify the crappy drop rates.

Bt helms should have the same drop rates as mord because they are made to replace mord helms for the current eg population.

Nothing will change until content updates become more common.

Farming raids for years because the best items have minuscule drop rates has been the content for many due to the lack of updates.
