refer to my previous post. I’m a carpenter and there is no way in hell im staying up for a midnight reset where I won’t sleep till 2am and then have to be up between 4-5am for work. This is quite literally the worst possible time for any aussie who needs to be up early for work

Anywho @Staff it doesn’t matter when you restart as bosses are as mentioned many many times a conplete bonus, but honestly it’s unfair after so long of US orientated resets people are still fighting to keep it that way. Selfish people imo the rest of the world does exist and they like games too

Isn't the whole point to implement bug fixes/updates? The fact that bosses spawn is just a happy accident.

Like why is there even a debate on this? Resets are not events for community, they are needed restarts to fix bugs so game can be played normally...
So what if you can’t attend a reset, deal with it

I think the old time is what everyone is used to and worked, just go back to it if it isn’t too much of an inconvenience for VR.

GMT is just the standard time zone, all other times zones are rooted as GMT+/- so I don’t think it will change.

And for resets it doesn’t really matter what players are used to. If anything I hope we get to a day where resets aren’t needed and instead changes can just be patched in but boss windows etc stay as is....
resets are meant to fix or add content. The boss spawns are just the cherry on top.
Ya the DKP and loot would be nice, but what about all the other players who have missed out on it because of old times? Resets are uncommon and not worth causing a big stir imo. They should be kept as convienent as possible for VR so long as it allows for them to implement them properly and provide a second patch should it be necessary.

Unfortunately yes you are righ no matter what the time someone will miss out or be a zombie waiting for it.
I hope they find a way to do events with out restarting the server in the end.
