Bounty Board Inquiries

Now I do not want to speak too soon! God forbid these bounty boards require 3 hours of grinding to complete and give 10% of a level. But assuming that OTM does it well and creates an alternative to lixing and does well on boss drops and raid loot, what happened?

Unfortunately, the community felt very neglected and unheard the last few weeks, believing that OTM didnt care about anything they said as everything was dumped into feedback and suggestions. However this past week, OTM seems to be hauling ass.

You guys said you would add companions, horizontal content like fishing and crafting, bounty boards so that lixing wasnt the only fast way to level, a revamp on the stats and prices of lux items and you said you would lock the level cap at 220.

This is all amazing and i am ever so grateful that you guys are working hard and making this happen for us, only thing I can think of to change in the game is make mobs drop much much much much more gold so farming becomes possible.

But why now OTM? What happened that made you guys just go all out and bring us all this amazing news and reworked content?

Curious if there was a motive or something? I see the old OTM coming back and im loving it!

Hello!

We wanted to make sure we took more notice of your feedback and vocally told you we are doing so.

Our Heroes matter to us and as such we want to provide you with the best MMO mobile experience we can - this means, incorporating your feedback where we can.
Great!!:) While I have you here! May I ask:
Can you give us an example of 1 bounty board quest for a level 200, in terms of quest and xp and gold rewards just so we know what we will be getting!:)
Also when do you plan to roll out the beta?

Beta is expected in the next couple of weeks providing all goes well.
And while you are waiting for he beta applications to be released, check out my guide on how to apply for beta testing. It has a bunch of tips on what to expect, how you should write your application, and a FAQ section that might clear up any questions you have

We will be getting feedback from players on bounty quests in beta, but we wanted an individual bounty to be something achievable within a single session, so a level 200 bounty might be kill 12 Apprentice Summoners in the Summoning Chambers, 13 Bronze Imps in the Alchemical Quarters, or 9 Wyrmkeeper Subjugators in the Summoning Chambers. The number of bounties you'll be able to complete each day will depend on beta feedback.

All of the other content has been in development for a while, as Kodelia said we're making sure that we directly address your feedback and we have made some adjustments where possible to address high priority issues raised by the community and make sure this is being communicated. Horizontal content has been in the works in various forms for a few months now alongside other work. Up to now we've been focused on the back end systems, we're almost ready to dive into to the front end(animations, UI, rewards, quests, balancing). Once that's in a testable state we will get players in to provide feedback and make adjustments so we can get it released.

Sounds great! The quest sounds perfect in terms of difficulty and time - As it seems like that would only take 10-20 mins! Im just hoping that the xp and gold rewards are suitable! Dont want a quest like that to just give like 50,000 XP and 1k Gold!
Hoping that this changes the dynamic of leveling and obtaining gold so that it can be done in a fun questing way!

Also, is bounty boards aimed only for high level players? Or will they be in highshore village or the castle so that noobies can do them too!

This just sounds the same as training rather than bounty hunting, where as its a set of normal in game mobs to plough through,
I understand it's late in the process now but maybe in the future you could (if bounty will be pve) create a set of outlaws that roam the maps, with it being a bounty also these would not show on any map as you have to locate them yourself, more of a challenge than a grind,
Example would be there's one every 5 levels, they can spawn in many locations (lower level ones in lower level areas only of course) and you would have to not only actually find them but kill them.
Random 3 per bounty of any level but none above yours.
Each bounty can have variance in difficulty and reward to match, some may take couple days to complete but rewards can reflect this giving it more of an edge over other quests
