Today i bought a 100 slash resist wolf helm. I saw on the forums that the wolf helms were made tk help protect against the stonevale bosses and i was wondering what bosses even uses slashing damage? Thanks!

I own every wolf helm in the game. Is best because after update you might need it alot more than you need it now.

Its easy to tell what boss does what type of damage...

Red wisp obvious heat
Blue wisp obvious cold
Etc etc....

How do you know a blue wisp does cold damage?
I tried the cold damage wulf helm and it didnt seem to reduce the damage at all?

well theoretically what H3ROBigG says it correct - the best resist stat for a boss depends on what weapon they are using, e.g
axe/sword - slash
bow/dagger - pierce
hammer - crush
firelight wisps (red) - heat
blue wisps - cold i assume, due to the fact that red is heat
theres one more, magic - probably designed to be resistant to most of the spells that bosses cast in a fight, like bolt of lethargy, cloak of the remnant, astral rays etc.

so, for now and the future, this is how i would determine which wolf helm/ resistant item to use.
