He has many true forums. He 16 boxes all there charcs over and over and over again its pretty crap really. If you tested all there charcs IP addresses the whole clan would be banned no joke.

I would have liked this thread to actually talk about the boss, his skills, and how to fix them. Instead people keep bringing in their personal business. I'm done posting on this thread because people keep taking this thing off topic :|


Okay, so let's say that was actually your purpose rather than this being a bragging thread.

Why would you want OTM to listen to players on how to tone him down so he can be beaten? That is counter intuitive.
If I were a game designer, I certainly wouldn't listen to players ideas how to nerf him.
It is up to the developers to create a boss encounter and see if the players are up to the challenge and figure out a strategy to win.
They should also have simulation tools to see if the boss is possible to beat, well I don't know for sure, but I would.

So the fact that you expect a thank you from OTM and the community to show them how it should be nerfed so that a boss can be beaten is frankly simply self-serving.

As stated in Beta, OTM have several possible boss strategies in taking down bosses, each of the bosses I might add. They know its possible so it, beats me why they put so much effort into boss design and difficulty to see them nerfed left right and centre. Why can't people start collaborating their ideas to make a boss strategy and defeat him. Right now the bosses are getting served on a silver platter, and killing a boss doesn't give you that rush that it used to, like it does in other games. When you kill a difficult boss you get a sense of achievement, I don't see how people can get that sense of achievement the way the bosses are now.... Nerfed down to the toenail like they are.

I couldn't agree more. Heck it's not even just bosses that people asked to be nerfed. A lot of players here cried that Furious Sweep was OP because Trolls are "too hard". They got what they wanted.

Ya furious sweep was manageable the way it was. I just hope more bosses are able to have rogues used in them because i just sit next to elim and poison him lol.....back on topic great job for trying hrungnir and im happy ail is our cheif because i use alot less plat items now lol...no more golging it out. Ail is 174 without lixing :shock: I think the only plat item he uses is idols lol but the way he runs the clan is great. Sometimes like when we started killing bosses in this update idols were used alot but hardly anymore because we are all higher levels. We have more competition in morrigan now with impulverum. We used to scedule raids but that is no longer a luxury because they won Aggragoth twice now which is cool because its fun to have competition. Well overall i think ive come to the conclusion that i talk too much and this post is kinda all over the place lol :roll:

Lol, couldn't agree more. They got what they wanted and more! Sad though, what I would actually like to see though is a complete re-run of Boss attack types. Make it more interesting. This game, is hit a mob till its dead, all bosses have pretty much the same speed etc.

I would like to see bosses, have different persona. Like i think SirBlaze mentioned, the troll shouldn't be wacking a big log around like its a fluffy bunny. It should be slow precise swings, maybe even new attack animations. When a boss does an Aoe skill maybe the troll could hit his log on the floor and make the screen rattle causing confusion to the characters making them stunned or something. Make it so you can dodge AOE by hiding behind a rock.

Just make the bosses a bit more realistic and interesting. Trolls shouldn't be running like faeries, tiptoing around. They should be running slow with giant steps virtually making the ground rattle a bit. I don't know maybe thats a bit in depth. But a boss re-do like this would have me playing this game none stop, would make it ten times more interesting 10 fold. May take time but it would be worth it in the end.
