Rogue Leveling for Casual Soloer

I am very new to this game.
In my last MMO, I loved playing stealth characters and I played Rogue in this game for about level 10.

<<Off topic : Its a fricking difficult to find a mobile 3d MMO containing a stealth class...uff>>

I am loving the mechanics of rogue but I am worried as I see that this class has 0 heals (excluding that generic bandage thingy) and what if I reach a point where soloing even for regular quests will become impossible

I can understand that this game "nudges to play in group" instead of encouraging the solo aspect.

If needed I can buy plat/premium items as long as I dont have to shell out a lot of dough just to make progress in my soloing.

Without much delay here are my Qs

-> Has anyone played Rogue as a Solo ?

-> If I play only solo and attempt to complete only the solo regular content how much I can progress in this game as a rogue.
I understand that this game has about 220 levels.

Hello!
Well, first off, I highly do not recommend using bandage wounds, I would rather invest in "Life Steal" (forget where this drops). And this could help along the way of leveling up and questing. Also there are recast cooldowns for lifesteal to make it more useful and allow less waiting in between combat to heal up.
Running rogue solo was a really fun experience for me in this game, I tinkered with my stats for the best possible hybrid build that kept me alive but also allowed for decent dps to slowly progress up. Rogues are also fun to level up with when in a group.
Sigils are also important, but do not feel pressured to have a lot of them, I got through a good chunk of leveling without them (sigils increase out of combat regen of energy and health)

CH as a whole is really designed to be a social game. It certainly is possible to level solo, myself and countless others have done it. However, it is more costly and time consuming and less rewarding than playing with a group.
Rogues are by far the most expensive class to level, gear, and maintain in this game, however they have an unmatched assortment of armor, health, defensive abilities, as well as a versatile range of skills. So I would argue it’s a pretty even trade off, and if you can make it to end game and are patient enough it’s definitely worth it.

Currently the EG threshold is at level 220, with the hard cap at 240 (max level mob is 220).
Quests currently will only take you to around 140, from there the only option is grinding or daily bounties (which equate to about 1/3 a level a day of you do all 6).

To solo as a rogue you will probably need to shell out more than you are thinking. As I hinted above, rogues aren’t a cheap class in this game. Their gear is rarer due to how many play, they require more lux items, elixirs and other leveling materials are needed in higher varieties and thus more expensive overall to level.
Depending on how fast you want to level, an EG rogue from scratch can go anywhere from free taking maybe a year or two to reach EG putting in about 4 hours a day to 3 weeks if you were to spend in the hundreds of dollars on plat (the game’s premium currency) and spend about 8 hours a day online leveling.

There is one more factor as well and that is server choice. Some servers have mid and low tier armor easily accessible and make it easier for a solo player to acquire outside of a clan, others everything is strictly controlled. If your goal is to play solo you will want to play on Epona. This is the only entirely open world server and will make your life 10000x easier as a solo player.

I think this about covers your question, but if I missed anything or you have any further questions let me know!

I also want to point out that there isn’t much of a stealth aspect to Rogues, unfortunately. They have the skill Hide, which makes you invisible to mobs for 60 seconds, but that is pretty much the farthest the game goes. Most players don’t utilize Hide because it’s not terribly hard to tank a couple hits from mobs as you run past them.

Other than that, I think Bob and Majestix answered pretty much everything else!

Best of luck on your journey in Celtic Heroes!

As someone else has said, get life steal and max it. Also get a bunny from the bounty board, at higher tiers it is amazing and becomes essential for the heal and the energy regen both. I'm a 173 rogue with a tier 4 bunny and I solo lix and can solo a lot of bosses and out dps a lot of higher level players while still having really good survivability.

Hide should be reworked so that you do extra damage when you first attack with hide activated, and once you cast it in the middle of combat, the mob will stop attacking so then you can attack and deal extra damage with whatever skill you use. Kinda like how in RPGs like Skyrim you deal extra damage while hidden.

Would make the rogue a lot more interesting and really make it a stealth class. Would make solo a lot easier too

This would be amazing. When hide expires (or is cancelled by combat), it could give you a 5 second large skill damage boost. Either a general boost to all skills (which may or may not be possible with the current system) or even just a boost to certain skills...say sneaky attack and shadowstrike, maybe assasinate as well. That’d be really cool. I also like the idea of it instantly canceling combat...didn’t realize that wasn’t a thing already (I’ve never even considered using it on my rogue). If there could be a way to prevent the mob from resetting when you hide as well, that’d be great. Otherwise it would be a good initializing buff.
