Don’t force no restrictions on no server.
That’s exactly what dominance does, and how does making a server free force “restrictions” onto a server? Doesn’t that reverse all of the restrictions placed by dom clans, giving the players more freedom? ._.
It means a clan can put its restrictions on itself. It’s self imposed. Sure for those outside the clan they have to either compete or comply, but that’s no different than on Epona. Only difference is Epona is a much bigger system than your average clan.
Like I said before, just as you got plenty going to Epona, you have plenty leaving (only reason the xfer system to Epona thrives lel) because they wanted something different and the current Epona system couldn’t be changed.
This is just how MMO gaming with such severe drop rates works. It’s just a fact of the system, not a fact related to a specific server or clan style ._.
Yeah both have restrictions, but at least within Epona’s restrictions you’re basically free to do whatever you want. Join whatever clan, show up to bosses whenever you want, buy/sell/trade whatever you want, obtain gear and create whatever build you want without people criticizing you (seriously, I’ve seen more creative builds on Epona than any other server), its just a much better place to be and it’s a lot more fun having that freedom in your hands. Even if you get blacklisted it’s still not the end of the road for you because of the free market. People leave because of the increasing population and how hard it increasingly becomes to win a drop. The loot distribution is to blame for that
Unlike on dom servers where there are so many rules that most get to a point where actively logging isn’t even fun anymore. Can’t do this, can’t do that. Can’t sell this, can’t buy that... lame. Then players only have one option for a clan if they want any top end gear like Dg. Even if they don’t like that option... too bad so sad we’re the dominant ones so join us and follow our rules or get nothing at all. So the player unwillingly joins the dom clan even though they dislike it but they have no other choice, now they’re expected to spend a large chunk of their free time attending bosses if they want a remote chance at top end gear. They’re forced to attend so many bosses that they are starting to burn themselves out and start to grow to dislike the game. They get frustrated with the drop rates because they’re putting in so much work but the drop they want isn’t dropping or the drop finally dropped but someone else got it so they’re basically attending all these bosses for a clan they don’t really like for nothing because they can’t keep the loot and sell it. Goes straight to the clan bank where 95% of the drops sit and rot forever, wasting away drops that might be useful to someone on the outside. Then they eventually have had enough of it and either go inactive/quit or xfer to Epona lmao.
The most important thing though is the people, and it’s no secret that dom clans are filled with cocky assholes that don’t act like the nicest people to outsiders (or even their own clan members). Just go read the reviews for this game on the App Store, it’s truly sad to see how getting to endgame and top end gear changes someone into an arrogant *** and how many people turn away from this game because of it. Yes Epona has the same problem, but atleast on Epona you’re not forced to play under the same clan as them or forced to be in a chat group with them like you are on a dom server. Dominance just makes it worse because they have the added factor of being on top of everyone else, and some people love to absorb that and show that they’re on top.
