I know the eggs are a jackpot prize and this was advertised (albeit not in the most obvious of places) but not since Samhain 2012 have I ever won the jackpot gold or platinum events despite buying hundreds if not thousands of chests each event.
Compared to this load of chests where I still did not win a jackpot amount of gold or platinum but did however win 5 eggs I would say they are not a jackpot.

Lol, sorry, but wait until you get to 3300 chests, 0 eggs. Now that is disillusioned!

Got 150 plat several times, .many 60 plat
10k gold many times.

In process of uploading a video but. 1000 chests, 2 eggs, and a jackpot of 2mill. Came out with 13k plat and 8m gold. I used the plat for more chests, 400 (because of sale), and received no more eggs. The drop rate is horrendous. I believe still otm nerfs chests with sales. As if this wasn't a sale. That would've been $1,000. For 2 whole eggs. Ridiculous

As I have said before, the egg drop rate borders on scamming. That's why I don't open chests anymore.
