Forced Password Reset

We have some rather important topics coming up for Celtic Heroes! As we have mentioned in our previous announcement security and server stability are our highest priority right now. Password security is at the core of these improvements and we are going to do a forced password reset for all Celtic Heroes accounts which use a normal username and password. This does not impact those who use third party log in platforms such as Apple Sign-in or Facebook. The reset is planned to take place in the coming two weeks and we will let you know when we have a date locked down.
Once this update happens, you won't be able to log into the game if you do not reset your password via the new ingame prompt. Even if you changed your password recently, you will still need to do it again now.
This is done as a safety precaution due to the security breach which happened last month. We want to ensure that we are as safe as possible going forward and we are also moving to a more advanced password encryption system to further bolster security all around.
In order to reset your password you need to know your current password or have an email associated with your account so that you can reset the password. If you don’t know your password and you have no email attached to your account, you need to create a support ticket to get the password changed. You can do so here: https://support.decagames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
If you already know that you will need to create a support ticket to change your password, we highly recommend doing so before the forced reset takes place to avoid wait times and not to be locked out of your account.
We require specific information in order to verify the ownership of your account. Please provide the following information in the ticket, as well as any other information proving the ownership of your account:
Account Username/email currently associated with the account.
Account creation date (not character).
Dates of most recent log-ins on this account.
Approximate date and details of at least one recent trade done on this account (also tell us which character did the trade).
Payment details of latest Platinum purchases (dates, amounts, any details).
Character world, name, level, and class. List as many as you can.
An e-mail address which we will assign to this account.
We understand this will cause some disruption to your play in the case you are not able to reset your password without contacting support. We hope most of you know your password, but in case you do not, we look forward to helping you out. However, in the case we get a large influx of such requests, the response times will get longer and we must ask for your patience.
